Return & Exchange Policy
At The Wells Company LLC, we take pride in the craftsmanship of every deck. Because our products range from one-of-a-kind original paintings to made-to-order printed graphics, our return policy varies by product category.
1. Hand-Painted Premium Decks (1:1 Originals)
These decks are unique works of art. Due to the labor-intensive nature and the "one-of-one" status of these pieces, all sales of hand-painted decks are final.
No Returns or Exchanges: We do not accept returns based on change of mind for original art.
Detailed Previews: We provide high-resolution photos of every angle before purchase to ensure you know exactly what you are receiving.
Shipping Damage: If your hand-painted deck arrives damaged due to transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the board. We will work with you on a case-by-case basis (repair, insurance claim, or store credit).
2. Printed Graphic Decks (Digital Illustrations)
Our printed decks are produced through our manufacturing partner. We want you to love your setup, so we offer a more flexible policy for these items.
Return Window: Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
Condition: Decks must be in original, unused condition. We cannot accept returns if:
Grip tape has been applied.
Trucks have been bolted on (leaving marks).
The board has been skated or shows any signs of wear.
Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived defective or incorrect.
Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee applies to all printed deck returns to cover our initial processing and handling.
How to Initiate a Return
Email Us: Contact contact@thewellscompany.co with your order number and the reason for the return.
Photos: For damaged or defective items, please attach clear photos of the issue.
Approval: Once approved, we will send you the return shipping address and instructions.
Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund (minus shipping and restocking fees) will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Defective Merchandise & Printing Errors
If there is a clear manufacturing defect (e.g., delamination or a significant misprint from the production company), please notify us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you at no additional cost.
